This episode of ABC podcast ‘Soul Search’ features Recipes for Ramadan contributor Farukh Tehery. Presenter Meredith Lake visited the home of Farukh and her brother Rahmatullah, who were evacuated from Kabul to Sydney last year after the Taliban seized control.
For the Tahery family, who have a proud history of promoting the rights of women in Afghanistan, their recipe for Bolani represents solidarity between women.
